Dear Readers,
Welcome!
I am so glad that you have found my little corner of the internet! On this blog I try to share little known stories about famous people/places and other stories about those who are rarely written about in history books.
It has been many months since I last wrote and a lot has happened. In April, I was diagnosed with Type One Diabetes. I will spare you from the horrible story that was my diagnosis process, but suffice to say that I have an insulin pump and am doing much better.
Earlier this summer my husband and I finished collecting the final season of field work data for his PhD! After that we had the chance to visit some historical locations including the Virgil I. "Gus" Grissom Memorial Museum in Mitchell, Indiana; Greenfield Village and the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan; and the Carillon Historical Park in Dayton, Ohio.
There are some stories that I have found recently that I look forward to sharing.
Friends, I pray that you are well and that you have a wonderful week!
